“Your present circumstances don’t determine where you can go; they merely determine where you start.” – Nido Qubein
Here at Austin Collaborative Care, we aim to provide integrative treatment for your mental health and wellness. We understand your needs are complex and unique to you. As the local mental health clinic in Austin, we strive to collaborate with you and your healthcare providers to find the solutions that work best for you.
COUNSELING & MENTAL HEALTH APPROACH
Cindy is a mental health therapist who welcomes your need for healing and renewed spirit of hope as you struggle with the hurts, frustrations, and feelings of helplessness that life sometimes brings. Taking the Collaborative Language Systems approach, she strives to enter into the struggle with you as one who comes alongside to help in time of need.
Her aim is to gain understanding of what is happening in your life, and work together to help make changes for the better. Healing includes not only confronting problems, but learning the healthy fun and spontaneity that people with active lives and growing relationships enjoy - relationships that bring love and contentment.
CINDY WILLIAMS TODD, MA, LMFT
Cindy has provided mental health treatment in the Austin area since 2011. Her experience includes working with Austin Recovery to help adults and families overcome the chaos and heartache of addiction. She received training in Family Systems Theory at Austin Family Institute while also assisting individuals and families through Austin Travis County Integral Care to find holistic healing and build full lives while managing symptoms of a mental diagnosis. She continues to provide mental health treatment and family therapy in Austin as a co-founder of Austin Collaborative Care.
Her broad experience in her personal life and extensive education includes practicing treatment for addiction, alcoholism, mental illness, existential concerns, and difficulties in relationships. Cindy works well with people of various backgrounds, helping them to find healing in mind, body, spirit, and relationships. For many people, faith in God is their worldview, and so it is an important part of their healing. Cindy believes that for some people, discussions that include matters of faith can be very helpful, and she will discuss faith as much or as little as you like.
